New sessions added our Velodrome Summer Timetable

​​New Early Bird Adult Drop-Ins                                                  
Weekly Fridays 7am-8am Mon, Tue, Fri from 18th April 2016            
Cost £8.70 (1 hour)

For all you Early Birds, from the 18th April we have new weekday adult accredited drop-ins with sessions running 7am-8am Mondays, Tuesday and Fridays. As for all our adult drop-in sessions, you must be aged 16 or over and fully accredited at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. Sessions are bookable in the usual ways, a week in advance – online, over the phone, or in 
person at reception 

Advanced Rider Training (ART) Summer Sessions            
Weekly Friday 8pm-10pm 22nd April- 30th September 2016                     
Cost £22.40 (2 hours)

Looking to push things a bit further? Then these sessions are for you. A mixture of skills, techniques and equipment including coach-led racing, Italian Pursuit, scratch racing with some use of dernys and start gates. Particularly suitable for those looking to prepare and hone their race craft, with plenty of track time, our coaches will work you harder than you knew you were capable of! Sessions are bookable in the usual ways, a week in advance – online, over the phone, or in person at reception. For adult accredited riders over 16s               

​Junior Summer DSTs                   
Fortnightly Saturdays 2pm-4pm from 23rd April – 1st October 2016               
Cost £16.30 (2 hours)

Fully accredited junior? Then our Junior DST Sessions are just the thing for those aged 15 and under. Our coaches will put you through your paces in this 2-hour session to improve your track cycling skills and techniques. Sessions are bookable in the usual ways, a week in advance – online, over the phone, or in person at reception


ParaCycling Wednesdays                                                           
Weekly Wednesdays from 6th April 12noon-3pm (Hourly Slots)                           
Cost £6.10 (1 hour)

For riders with a disability we have new hourly slots on a Wednesday afternoon. If you are interested in attending sessions, if you contact Gordon Watson, gordon.watson@glasgowlife.org.uk, in the first place including name, contact details and a little about your support needs, Gordon will get back in touch to organise your first visit. Carers are also of course welcome to contact on behalf of individuals they care for.
