Glasgow Life has Para cycling track sessions available at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Para cycling sessions are dedicated coaching sessions for riders with physical and learning disabilities who want to keep fit and develop their skills and technique through coached sessions.

Do you know of someone that has visual impairment and interested in cycling? We have recruited several tandem pilots to support tandem riding also.

Sessions are one hour long, limited spaces available!

The next available dates are :

Wednesday 1-2pm or 2-3pm :
October,3rd,10th,17th,24th,31st,November,7th,14th,28th,December,5th,12th,19th

Thursday 6-7 pm or 7-8 pm :
October,11th,25th,November,8th,December,6th,20th

Saturday 3-4pm :
October,6th,20th,November,3rd,17th,December15th,29th

Solo Riders > 4 riders per hour maximum
Tandem Stokers(on the back!) > 6 riders per hour maximum

On Thursday evening the session’s are busy and we try to run them as follows :
New and Beginner Riders  / 6-7 pm
Regular and Experienced Riders  / 7-8pm

Sessions are very popular already and require advanced booking.
You cannot just turn up on the evening and expect to get on the track!
